Good afternoon :)
I thought I would share a recent Keepsake box I made for my sister. She had asked for something special, pretty and pink that she could keep her children's keepsakes in.
For this I altered a fake book type box using Prima Flowers and butterfly, Dusty Attic chipboard, various mediums and other embellishments. The Dusty Attic chipboard used were Vintage Frame and Little Angel.
I primed the chipboard with Studio Gesso and then as I did not have the Dusty Attic shade of pink paint I wanted, I used Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum paint. I made several different gradients of pink by mixing with Dusty Attic Alabaster paint. I then applied to the chipboard using pale Pink on the inner section to a brighter pink on the outer edges. When this was dry I covered with Ranger Distress Crackle Paint in Rock Candy and added some Prima Pearls.
Thanks for visiting x

Altered Picture Frame - Bo Bunny
Hello xxx
This post is to show an altered aperture frame that i made for my niece using the Bo Bunny Alora and Ad Lib collections x
I wanted to do something special for her birthday and used the above collections as they are fun, bright and girly, just like her xxx
I added personal touches such as her first scan photo and a message in a bottle from her parents about her. I also added some blank journal cards in a pocket at the bottom of the frame, for her to write about herself and her dreams for the future.
