Ok here goes.... Hi and welcome to me blog, my name is Jodie and as you can tell this is a new blog and the first time I have ever blogged!
I love scrapbooking and started this blog so that it would be easier to take part in all the fun challenges out there. Some of my favourite scrapbooking designers are Bo Bunny, Prima and My Minds Eye and my favourite scrapping inspiration is my little girl.
My first layout is the current Bo Bunny Layout Challenge Friday. The challenge was to focus on journaling and to include some sewing (hand, machine or faux). Originally, I wasn’t going to take part in this challenge as firstly I don’t normally include much journaling on my layouts, normally keeping to titles, statements etc and when I do journal its normally hidden. Secondly, I have never stitched on any of my layouts. However, I thought this challenge would be good for me as it would take me out of my comfort zone and try new things...
I used the Ad Lib Collection as wanted to do a bright layout and I thought it was a perfect collection for journaling. I then decided if I was going to journal I would include lots! As such the layout contains both clear and hidden journaling...sorry about the handwriting! I chose the back Ad Lib paper as the design around the edge looks like faux stitching and the hidden tag at the top has a boarder of actual stitching.
